Our Story

Some Buildings
Hold Memory
in Their Walls.

Built in 1950 from brick and stone in West Dearborn, Michigan — a place where people gathered to celebrate, mourn, and mark the passages of life. For seventy-five years, it held that promise.

Now a new chapter begins. We are restoring The Nowlin with the same reverence it was built with — honoring every arch, beam, and stone — and reimagining it as a destination worthy of the stories yet to be told.

"We are not building something new. We are returning something extraordinary to the world — and to the people it has always belonged to."

The Vision

Restored With
Intention.
Designed for
the Timeless.

The Nowlin is not being renovated — it is being restored. Every decision is guided by one question: what did this building deserve from the beginning?

Historic Architecture

The Bones Are Extraordinary.

Original brick and stone. Arched windows. Vaulted ceilings. We are preserving every structural detail with the care it has always deserved.

The Grand Sanctuary

A Hall Built for Celebration.

Cathedral-height ceilings. Natural light through restored windows. A sense of scale that makes every gathering feel significant.

Future Experiences

Every Occasion, Elevated.

Weddings, galas, film screenings, private dinners, corporate gatherings — with a full commercial kitchen and flexible configurations for 20 to 400 guests.

Community & Heritage

West Dearborn's Living Room.

The Nowlin has always belonged to this community. Our restoration returns a landmark it deserves — a place of beauty, gathering, and shared history.
